Del City’s master battery disconnect switch provides a dependable solution for disconnecting power to the battery circuit in a variety of vehicle applications, including marine, recreational, agriculture, fleet, and off-road vehicles. This lever-operated switch ensures clear visibility and control, featuring a faceplate to indicate whether the battery circuit is connected or disconnected.

With a continuous capacity of 180 amps and an in-rush capacity of 1,000 amps, this switch is designed to handle demanding electrical systems operating between 6-36 volts. The heavy-duty metal construction makes it suitable for wet and rugged environments, while the two stud terminals on the back simplify wiring. It’s important to note that this switch is designed exclusively for the battery circuit and does not disconnect the alternator or generator field circuit. To prevent alternator damage, ensure the engine is shut off before activating the switch.

The switch is equipped with a 3/4" diameter mounting stem, conforming to a recommended mounting hole size of .750". It includes two hex nuts and a lock washer for secure installation. Engineered to perform through at least 10,000 cycles, this master disconnect switch conforms to UL 558 standards, making it a reliable and durable choice for professional and recreational applications.
