Quickly make or repair battery cable connections

Milwaukee, WI (March 2007) – Replace problematic battery cable connections with Del City’s easy-to-use combination of copper terminals and solder slugs. If the faulty connection is left unchecked, your car can experience a drop in voltage, vibration and corrosion in the cable.

Del City’s copper battery terminals can easily be connected by either crimping or soldering the terminal to the wire. Crimping offers a solid mechanical connection, but soldering the connection is recommended for it’s high, dialectic strength and superior conductivity.

The solder is a lead/tin composition with low a melting point, which allows for an easy copper to metal connection. Combining a pre-sized solder pellet, liquid flux and a piece of adhesive-lined, heat shrink tubing; a weather resistant connection is created with maximum conductivity. The soldered connection is excellent for large gauge wire and high amp applications, and ideal for auto, truck, trailer, agricultural and RV connections.
