Cross-Link GXL Wire
As part of the cross-link wire line, GXL wire provides a medium-thickness insulation. This wire is ideal for engine compartments and other applications where high heat resistance is necessary. GXL resists fusing and melting up to 257°F (125°C.) IN addition to the heat resistance, GXL is resistant to moisture and various solvents, giving your application added protection. This cross-link wire is constructed with bare copper, stranded automotive wire. Like other cross-link wire, it is housed in chemically cross-linked, polyethylene for extra strength. Gauge sizes range from 20 gauge to 8 gauge, which being available in 100 to 5,000 feet spools. Color options offered include red, white, blue, green, black, yellow, and brown. Finally, GXL meets or exceeds SAEJ1126, Ford ESB-M1L85A, and Chrysler MS-8900 specifications and is rated up to 60V DC/25V AC.
