Electromechanical Flashers

Electro-mechanical flasher units are available in 2 or 3 pin configurations, with or without leads. Electro-mechanical flashers are specifically designed for controlling the flash rate of vehicle directional indicators. They are non-polarized and non-load sensitive. These flashers are rated to FMVSS108, SAE J590b, J945 and J1690 Class A.


  • Shell Construction: Plastic
  • Rated Voltage: 11 to 15V DC
  • Voltage Drop at Rated Current: 500 mv
  • Time to First Flash: Less than 1.5 seconds.
  • Flash Rate Over Temperature Range: 60 to 120 Flash/Min.
  • Flash rate will not slow down when towing a trailer.
  • Input lead must be fused at 25 amps.
  • X = Battery (Power Input), L = Load (Lamp Output), P = Pilot (Indicator Lamp)
