Delphi's GT 280 Series cable seals are manufactured of silicone rubber material and guard against dust, moisture, engine compartment fluids and chemicals. GT 280 Cable Seals are available in 22-20 gauge, 18-16 gauge, 14-12 gauge and 10 gauge. Cable seals are crimped to the secondary terminal station to assure positive positioning of the seal in the housing cavity. For a complete connection, a female housing, male housing, male and female terminals, cable seals, cavity plugs and TPAs are required, sold separately.


  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F).
  • Seals and plugs are made of self-lubricating silicone.
  • Multiple "ribs" seal against dust, moisture, engine compartment fluids and chemicals.
  • Loose-piece cable seals are crimped simultaneously with the contacts.
  • The GT Connection System satisfies ISO, USCAR, and SAE J2030 electrical, mechanical and environmental performance criteria.
  • Rated to 25 Amps.
  • RoHS Compliant.
  • Female Housing, Male Housing, and Terminals needed to complete the connection are sold separately.
