The gauge size of the primary wire offered refers to the outer diameter of the copper strands housed within the PVC insulation, not including the insulation walls. The thickness of the insulation may vary slightly, but the gauge size within will not. The wire below ranges from 20 gauge (nominal O.D. = .084 inches) to 8 gauge (nominal O.D. = .208 inches) and is offered in 100 feet to 6,000 feet spools, as well as convenient thrifty spools in select gauge sizes. An assortment of wire colors is available, depending on gauge and spool length, including: red, white, dark blue, dark green, black, yellow, brown, gray, purple, and orange.
