The Blue Sea Systems L-Series Solenoid is designed for use in 12V or 24V systems, offering hermetically sealed contacts and a vaporproof design ideal for harsh environments, including gasoline-powered boats. Featuring ignition protection for safe marine installations, this solenoid provides reliable performance with minimal heating and amperage draw thanks to its integrated coil control.
With a continuous rating of up to 450 amps and an intermittent rating of 600 amps, the L-Series Solenoid is built to handle high-demand applications. The solenoid is activated by a low-amperage ON-OFF switch that can be mounted anywhere, providing ease of installation. The solenoid also features Normally Open (NO) contacts with a Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) configuration and is capable of up to 1,000,000 switching cycles, ensuring long-lasting performance.
