Tube nuts, unions, and adapters have uses across different types of automotive lines. Use a tube nut to create a connection by placing it over the brake line with the threads out to the side that will be flared. A union is for joining two lines together. Be sure to match the thread and flare of your connecting lines. Adapters are used to connect your line to the port if there is a difference.
