The Blue Sea Systems ML-Series Remote Control Contura Switch is engineered for use with the ML-RBS Series Remote Battery Switches and ML-Series Solenoids, offering reliable control in demanding environments. Available in two actuator types—(ON)-OFF-(ON) and ON-ON—this SPDT switch provides precise control for battery management. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and salt spray, the Contura Switch ensures long-lasting durability in harsh conditions.
With a maximum operating amperage of 20A at 12V DC and 15A at 24V DC, the switch is built for high-performance applications. The red actuator is paired with LED illumination, rated for 100,000 hours half-life, providing clear visibility and status indication. The switch features internal and external gasket seals for an IP67 rating, protecting it from immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes when mounted properly.
The switch is designed for a standard 1.45" x 0.83" (36.83 mm x 21.08 mm) mounting hole, making installation easy across different applications. It also meets stringent safety requirements, including UL 1500 and ISO 8846 external ignition protection standards, ensuring safe operation in marine and automotive environments.
