Our 4 gauge SGT battery cable is created from standard or ground general purpose thermoplastic cable. With a smooth polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, this 4 gauge cable provides extra protection against the elements, oils, acids, and cracking. The 4 gauge cable is available in red or black, and in 500 foot, 100 foot, and 25 foot spools. 4 gauge SGT cable is ideal to provide a strong connection from the battery to the power or ground. SGT battery cable is also commonly used as an option for replacing cables for a variety of applications. This battery cable is best used with dual wall adhesive heat shrink and pure copper battery terminals. Heat shrink tubing changes the diameter of the tubing, so be sure the inside diameter after recovery is smaller than the outside diameter. This ensures your 4 gauge cable will be properly installed.
