Ancor Marine Grade Tinned Wire
Ancor marine grade wire is created for use in marine, automotive, and harsh environment applications. Marine wire, also known as tinned wire, is manufactured with electroplated tinned copper wiring and a flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. Ancor marine grade wire from Del City meets or exceeds certifications required for marine grade status, including UL1426, BC-5W2, US Coast Guard Charterboat CRF Title 46, ABYC, and CSA TEW standards. The tinned copper wire contains 6.5% more copper than standard SAE wire and is rated up to 600 volts AC/DC and can withstand temperatures of 105°C (221°F) dry / 75°C (167°F) wet. Tinned wire is created to be highly resistant and durable, especially in harsh environments. The PVC jacket is UV resistant, flame retardant, and resistant to moisture, corrosion, and chemicals. Marine grade wire is available in 10 to 2 gauge sizing options in a variety of spool sizes ranging from 18 to 1,000 feet. Color options offered include: red, black, green, and pink. Spool sizes and colors offered will vary by gauge size. Del City provides a variety of additional marine grade products along with our high-quality tinned wire, making us your go-to connection for your next marine install.
