Ancor 16 Gauge Marine Grade Tinned Wire is engineered for reliability and versatility in marine environments. Constructed with tin electroplated copper wire, it ensures excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Encased in a durable yet flexible PVC jacket, this wire is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of marine applications, including wiring under the dash, radar, radios, lights, and other electronics.
The PVC jacket exceeds rigorous test standards for oil and moisture resistance, flammability, and cold bend performance. Built to resist saltwater, gas, UV radiation, and battery acid, this wire is ideal for harsh environments. With a temperature rating of 105°C (221°F) in dry conditions and 75°C (167°F) in wet conditions, and a voltage rating of 600V AC/DC, it ensures dependable performance in critical systems. For added convenience, appropriate ratings are printed directly on the wire.
Available in a variety of colors, including green, brown, and pink, and spool sizes of 100, and 500 feet, this wire meets or exceeds UL1426, BC-5W2, US Coast Guard CFR Title 33, Part 183.435, ABYC, and CSA TEW standards, ensuring compliance and safety.
