Self-Extinguishing Halar Sleeving for High Temperature and Chemical Resistance Applications

This self-extinguishing sleeve is made from Halar® ECTFE. It is ideal for applications in which flammability, high temperature endurance, and low outgassing are primary concerns. The sleeving will also resist a wide range of corrosive chemicals and organic solvents. Self-extinguishing sleeving meets UL 2024 and NFPA 262 plenum specifications. It has a UL flame resistance rating of VW-1, and it exceeds the auto requirement of FMVSS 302 and avaition requirement FAR 25. In addition to the heat and chemical resistance, the sleeving can also withstand exposure to cobalt 60 radiation at levels up to 200 megarads. All together, the heat, chemical, and radiation resistant properties make the sleeve a common solution in technologically advanced applications.
