The Mastervolt Charge Mate Pro Charging Lithium Relay provides an intelligent and efficient solution for distributing charger or alternator current between two battery banks, such as a starter and service battery. Designed for modern onboard power systems, this relay connects both batteries during charging and isolates them during discharging, significantly reducing the risk of a drained starter battery. Unlike traditional mechanical charge relays, the Charge Mate Pro prioritizes the primary battery by limiting the charge current to the secondary battery. This ensures the starter battery gets charged first, enhancing overall system reliability.

The Charge Mate Pro 90 is particularly suitable for high-demand applications, such as charging Lithium-Ion batteries or operating large alternators up to 180A. It can also be used in parallel with a 225A alternator for even higher power needs. The built-in reverse current protection and low voltage drop make it highly efficient, and an optional bypass switch can be added for emergency starts.

Ideal for leisure and professional marine or mobile applications, the Charge Mate Pro is compatible with various battery types, including LiFePO4, AGM, and GEL. Its rugged IP65-rated, corrosion-resistant casing with aluminum heat sinks ensures durability in harsh environments, and it’s easy to install, making it perfect for both lithium starter batteries and service battery applications.
