Quadplex brake cable is made of four-conductor, PVC jacketed primary wires, laid in parallel. The jacket provides protection against weather and acid effects. Quad-plex brake cable is primarily used for electric brake systems on trucks, buses, and trailers.
- High quality polyvinyl chloride jacket.
- Color code: white, black, green, red, with gray outer jacket.
- Brake cable is constructed in four conductor configurations for 16 gauge, 14 gauge, and 12 gauge wire.
- Inner conductors meet SAE J1128.
- Operating temperature range: -40°C - 105°C.
- Wire tolerance is +/- 10%
