High-Efficiency 500 Amp Solenoids for Marine and Industrial Applications
Blue Sea Systems ML-Series 500 Amp Magnetic Latching Solenoids are designed for high-demand applications, providing reliable switching under load without requiring manual control. These solenoids feature 3/8"-16 tin-plated copper studs for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance, ensuring secure and efficient connections. The silver alloy contacts deliver dependable switching of live loads, making them suitable for critical electrical applications such as engines, inverters, and battery combines.
A standout feature is the LED output, which can remotely indicate the switch state, and is compatible with an optional LED or Remote Control Contura Switch with an integrated LED (Del #5456 included in the retail package). These solenoids are now rated for up to 64V DC on the contact side, making them ideal for multi-voltage systems like solar installations, 36V DC, and 48V DC nominal systems, such as golf carts. Importantly, the control voltage remains at either 12V DC or 24V DC, maintaining compatibility with standard vehicle and industrial systems. This higher voltage capability has been rigorously tested for up to 2,000 live-switching cycles at maximum operating voltage, meeting UL 1107 requirements.
